2011, warm vintage !

One the main characteristic of the 2011 vintage would have been the drought during spring. The months of April, May and June have been the driest ever registered since 1945. But the beginning of summer, few rainfalls enabled the vines to continue on growing.  September was an ideal month to harvest with no rain.

The color is dense, and the nose displays black fruits and toasted coffee aromas due to the oak these perfumes are confirmed on the palate. Some tannin gives this 2011 a good structure but will need two to three years cellaring to become nicely integrated

Ideal service between 16 ° C and 19 ° C, on charcuterie, grilled or roasted meat, a selection of cheese. Open 1 hour before serving.
